"I don't know what to say," NiKo said after the match as the crowd inside the venue chanted his name. "Thank you, guys. Thank you so much. There's no better place to lift this trophy. I swear to God. It definitely was worth the wait. I think I'm the prime example, never give up. Never give up on your dreams, on your life. Keep believing. You're going to achieve things. It's going to be hard. It's going to be painful. But you will get it."

Both finalists were chasing a first Major title, which guaranteed history regardless of the result. In the end Falcons made it look comfortable, riding a wave of momentum from earlier wins over Vitality and Spirit straight into a dominant, one-sided sweep over FURIA.
Mirage opened the series, and FURIA dug themselves into an 0-8 hole before finally finding their footing late in the half. The Brazilians strung together four straight rounds to keep the comeback alive, but it was not enough to overturn the deficit, and Falcons closed the map out after a back-and-forth second half.
Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov was the standout across the first two maps, posting a 1.80 rating and a plus 10.13 percent round swing across Mirage and Anubis. Anubis started brightly for FURIA, with m0NESY opening Falcons' account with a Dualies four kill in the pistol round before the Brazilians took control of the rest of the half. NiKo's individual play kept Falcons within range, and once the side swapped, Falcons overran FURIA with an 8-1 run fueled by 22 combined frags from Maksim "kyousuke" Lukin and m0NESY.
Inferno was the cleanest map of the series. NiKo and kyousuke combined for 33 frags to close it out, sealing a 3-0 sweep that left little doubt about which team deserved the trophy.
The Bracket Falcons Had to Survive

"It's a dream come true," karrigan said. "The story for me this year has been so hard. Then I get a call: why not do it with NiKo, come here and help him win a trophy? I'm so proud of the boys. This is the hardest route I've had to winning a Major. I had only won it once, but generally these three days, I'm so proud of this team. They played so well."
It is karrigan's second Major title as a player, and another championship for coach Danny "zonic" Sorensen, who now has Major wins across multiple organizations to his name.

For Falcons, the win cements a roster built around NiKo, karrigan, m0NESY, kyousuke, and Rene "TeSeS" Madsen as a genuine top contender heading into the rest of the 2026 season, rather than a star-studded project still searching for results. For FURIA, the runner-up finish marks the franchise's deepest Major run to date, with Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato, Yuri "yuurih" Santos, and a returning Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo proving the roster can compete with the very best, even without the trophy to show for it.
The win also closes the book on one of Counter-Strike's longest-running storylines. NiKo's wait for a Major title outlasted multiple team changes, multiple eras of the competitive scene, and years of community debate about whether it would ever happen. It finally has.
